ANAC’s 5th Congressional Session*** Change of Guard

All Nigeria American Congress (ANAC) wrapped up the four day 5th Congressional Session at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel in Los Angeles with a youth concert (Ankara Fest) on Sunday at the UCLA auditorium.

The event was a smashing success which drew participants from across the United States, Nigeria, and other international locations.

This event was sponsored by the energetic and dynamic ANAC California team under the leadership of Mr. Dshaikh Izuchukwu, Chairman, Mrs. Lara Okunubi, Vice Chair, Mr. Solomon Adio, Vice Chair Northern California, Dr. Bright Aregs, Chair ANAC National Congressional Committee, Mr. David Ogunnaike, former Vice Chair of ANAC, Mrs Toyin Ademuyiwa, Treasurer, Mr. Godwin Tomakili, Chairman membership, Mr. Chike Nweke the Secretary, Mr. Femi Oduyemi, Energy Chairman and others.

The event began with a marathon session with the review of ANAC Constitution under the chairmanship of Professor Martin Okafor, the chairman of ANAC. The constitutional review process lasted for nearly 30 straight hours with only 4 hours of break between 4am and 8am. In the end a more flexible document was hashed out.
